September 6th, 2022 is international Read a Book Day! Read a Book Day seeks to encourages reading - either to yourself or to others. Reading can improve vocabulary and cognitive skills. Research has shown that reading creates more knowledge retention and creates meaningful connections.
On September 6th, sit down and read one of Stories to Grow By's wonderful tales either by yourself or with someone else!

One day an old woman wakes up to begin her day, with many chores to do. She goes to open her oven and finds inside....a skunk! Why is the skunk in the oven, how does she handle the situation, and does anyone help her? Read the story to find out!
