Why is it important to address cooperation in the classroom?
Teaching cooperation needs to be an active and intentional task for educators. Cooperation allows others to balance their needs with other's needs. Cooperation in the classroom does not mean that a student just does what a teacher wants. True cooperation provides a mutually beneficial outcome for all, in any setting, but especially the classroom.
