Background

Stories to Grow By, LLC a non-profit organization founded by Elaine Lindy, is dedicated to providing the finest treasury of stories and reader's theater scripts that are kid-tested and provide children with meaningful experiences that can last a lifetime.

The Stories

Our stories are retold by Elaine Lindy from source material in the public domain.  The term "public domain" refers to any material published before 1929. If you'd like for any particular story its source information, licensing information, or other detail, please contact us. 

On our Publishers page, we welcome you to print and use the stories on our website for your personal and/or classroom use.  However, you are not permitted to re-publish stories on other websites or in print.  Of course, you aren't permitted to sell our stories. Stories to Grow By LLC. owns the full Intellectual Property Rights to all stories displayed within our stories.
